Pumpkin carving...the pinnacle event of Halloween. Well, that and trick or treating. Nevertheless, in the McMillan house carving pumpkins is considered an art. Kevin could spend hours, no days, on carving a pumpkin. He gets all artistic with shading and such. But for the sake of time and short attention spans (mine) we let the kids choose a simple design.

A cute, simple face to carve. I found this one online.

As I type this Kevin is busily drawing out his next pumpkin masterpiece, so stay tuned!

We did that last night, I love carving pumpkins, it wouldn't be halloween without out. You go Kevin, it looks awesome.
That is a perfect Jack-O-Lantern!! I had dreams of creating a pumpkin like that, but we just DO NOT have those kind of carving skills!! Maybe next year!! Great idea to get a pattern off the internet!!
Perfect pumpkins!! Even the one's that were carved. :) Happy Halloween.
