Today we woke up and made some delicious pumpkin pancakes with apple cider syrup. Cade, my pickiest eater (and skinniest kid) ate two and a half pancakes! That is really saying something. I don't think I've ever seen him finish ONE pancake. Myla and Kevin loved them as well, and Gavin stared up at us pleading for a bite (oh that cute little face!). Maren, a fellow lover of all things Halloweeny and the source of the above picture (notice the toile tablecloth? Maren = toile), shared this wonderful recipe on The Secret Stitch Club blog. You can find the recipes here.

I didn't realize you were into Halloween THIS much! I just thought you were having fun with crafts with the kids. That does sound yummy, especially if Cade ate that much- need to try it!
I loved this pancake recipe too. But my syrup just didn't turn out. I'll have to try again.
