hands down belongs to Islands (in my humble opinion). When I was in high school and college my friends and I went there all the time, but I never fully appreciated it because I wasn't eating red meat at the time, so I only had chicken. I didn't know what I was missing! Whenever we go Kevin and I always order the same burger; Kevin gets the Hawaiian with pineapple and teriyaki sauce in it and I get the Hula with mushrooms and swiss cheese. So if you are in the mood for a good hamburger, go there (Alma School and the 60)...you won't be disappointed.
There is no way a picture could portray the goodness of this hamburger. So I guess you'll just have to take my word for it. I can never finish a burger in one sitting, so I take it home to enjoy it the next day. Gotta love leftovers.
Kevin is sure enjoying his burger.
Myla and Mommy, waiting for dinner.
Cade and Daddy having a good time.
While we were waiting for the food we tried to keep Cade entertained by letting him play with the camera for a bit. This was a nice picture he took of Kevin's strawberry lemondade. A budding photographer he is!

Just a little tip: if you join the Tiki club you will receive a free burger and dessert during your birthday month.

We love Islands, they have a lettuce wrapped burger that Ty can have and we love their fries...next time you go, give us a call, we would love to keep you company, if you guys want the company that is! There I go again inviting myself to things!
The last time I was in Arizona I had an Island burger, it put me in a trance, and I dreamt about it for weeks. We do not have one here, so, I have to find a way to schedule a business trip and come and get one...he he.
That is one of our favorite burger joints too! We'll have to go there for a date night sometime!
Okay, I got to agree- that picture does NOT do that burger justice. In fact, it looks kind of gross- but it's my favorite burger in the world! Man, now I have to go eat there! MMmm... that melted cheese and mushrooms... mmmm... :-)
Yum I love the Islands. I have never tried the hamburgers there but, love the chicken teryaki burger it is so yummy but, oh so messy. : ) Looks like a fun family outing.
ohhh... Chrisite you and I have the same favorite burger. That is the burger I threw up all over my mother-in-law when I was in labor with Paige. How's that for a tender moment.
