Yesterday we were at my sister's house playing. All of the "big" kids were outside on the trampoline and Gavin was inside with us. Nicki and I were chatting away when I look down and see Gavin scooting across the room to get the the toyroom! And he was doing his little army crawl like he'd been doing it for weeks. Hmmm, I wonder if he's been practicing while I wasn't looking. :) When Kevin came home we had to show off Gav's new moves. It was fun to watch him go after toys. The kids got a kick out of it too.
This morning I was doing Myla's hair in the bathroom and had put Gavin down in the kids room on his bum to play with a couple of toys. Before I know it Gavin is in the bathroom swatting at my ankles. This is going to take some getting used to. Time to really baby-proof again!

So, for all the grannies and papas and aunties and uncles out there (and whoever wants to see it of course) here is Gav's little scooting debut. Please ignore my annoying "baby" voice. I know it's annoying, but I can't help it. :)

Christie,
I don't know if you remember me, I used to be in your ward about 4 years ago. I lived in the town houses around the corner from you (in the very back). I found your blog through Jen Flake. I just wanted to tell you how cute your kids are! I remember you having Cade before we moved, and it is so fun to see your other two. You have a beautiful family. It is fun to see people from the old ward. It was such a great ward to be apart of. You are so talented, you make me want to take up sewing!
his left leg & right arm are going to be huge from all that working out. That is adorable!
That honestly made my day!!! That is one cute scoot. And Cade running around is fantastic. I love proud happy mom/baby voice also. :)
Oh now the fun times really begins. I hope Natalie doesn't move for a long time. She is already starting to roll and position herself to get to things.
How cute and scary all at the same time. I know it won't be long till our turn comes.
